Leaf and Lawn Scrap Pick-up

clock February 12, 2009 19:11 by author Jon

The week following our Spring Clean-up, (the week of 4/19/09-4/24/09)

We will have the Leaf Vac Machine out and running, collecting the leaves and sticks that you may have leftover from the winter season. Please have your leaves raked to the side of the road, as our hose only reaches a few feet. You should place your leaves where your yard meets the road;  sticks can be piled separately next to the road, and they will be picked up for you.

This service is provided by the Town of Mulberry, free of charge to you.

This will occur for the entire week following Spring Clean-up, and will end on Friday, 4/24/09.

Our regular Leaf Pick-up schedule will be announced and posted closer to the Fall season.

Flushing Hydrants

clock February 12, 2009 16:36 by author Jon

Some of you may have noticed on February the 10th, and 11th that you had a bit of rusty water.

This would be due to the Water Superintendent flushing the fire hydrants. While this presents questions as to why the water is rusty, this is normal, and it is necessary maintenance that has to be done. You may wish to let your water trickle for a short time to clear up your lines prior to doing a load of laundry. This only lasts for a short period of time, and it will return back to normal.
