How would you feel if you could set your recyclable items out for pick-up each week?

I would love to have curb side recycling. How much would it cost? -or- if the program we have now could be expanded to 3 weeks out of the month at the town hall building, that would be good.

Heaven forbid!!!!! It's enough to look at trash on trash day when it sits out all day . . .I can't imagine having to look at all the junk that my neighbors or I would want to recyle . . .I like to one location and it seems that people don't mind bringing it there.

I think it would bring Mulberry up to speed with where we should be. I think it would make more people actually recycle since they wouldn't have to load their cars with trash twice a month and keep track of what days are recycling days and which aren't. The times aren't always convenient for our schedule so I don't want trash sitting around for a month while I wait to be able to go to a Saturday session. If we had curbside pickup that was at the same time as our normal trash pickup then it would be a no brainer. As for the comment about how much "junk" the person would have to look at from their neighbors wanting to recycle, those people that aren't recycling now have all that "junk" out with the trash anyway. The point of recycling is to make the area cleaner with less "junk" in the landfill. How can that be a bad thing. I think if anything, it will make our property values go up since it is another civil service that our town provides to its citizens. I say go for it!

Yes! Having recently moved to Mulberry, it took me quite a while to find out how to recycle here. Then being out of town on Saturdays, I now have a garage full of recycling to get rid of. I can't wait for Jul 16, but they may be overwhelmed with the massive amount I bring!Curbside recycling (weekly i hope) would be terrific. And the easier it is to recycle, the more people will do it. It's a major step in small town toward saving the planet.

ALL FOR IT!!! So hard to get there on Saturday mornings. Would be better if they would be accepting all day, not just the morning. BUT LOVE curbside. Had it when I lived in Southern Indiana and miss it desperately!

The every other Saturday recycling has been a wonderful addition to our community. Still, it has not always been possible to make it to the pick up point some Saturdays. Curbside pickup would be conveinent and greatly appreciated. I too think the convenience would encourage more people to recycle.

I like the idea of curbside recycling. I feel more people would participate. The same day as our regular trash pickup would be the best day, get it all out and over with in one day.

I would like curbside recycling but only if it's cost effective for the town. It would certainly be more convenient because I have to miss the two Saturdays in a month sometimes. I'm still happy to bring the recylcing items uptown, though. Thanks for setting up the program in the first place! How about more frequent lawn debris collection?
